Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Residential Care Worker to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our team, you will provide client and facility support, working closely with our clients and staff to foster a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within an inter-disciplinary team. A strong commitment to client-centered care and a genuine enthusiasm for working with diverse populations are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide client and facility support, promoting a safe and healthy environment.
  • Work collaboratively with clients and staff to achieve client-centered goals.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and community partners.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Complete high school education, Manitoba standards.
  • Valid CPR-C with Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training and First Aid certification.
  • Experience working in a residential facility, addictions-related employment, or volunteer work.
  • Ability to work from a client-centered perspective.
