Job Title: Vertical Sales Rep

Are you a sales professional looking for a challenging role in a dynamic industry? Do you have a passion for building relationships and driving sales growth? We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Vertical Sales Rep to join our team at United Rentals.

About the Role:

As a Vertical Sales Rep, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth in our Climate Solutions business. You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve business objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years' sales experience in small A/C and heating rentals and related services
  • Ability to progress the entire sales process in person or over the telephone
  • Capable of negotiating individual transactions and contracts directly with the customer
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn technical features of equipment
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM a plus
  • Available for on-call rotation to provide after-hours service and response
  • Willingness to provide equipment delivery, installation, and customer product training
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to lift 45 pounds and safely operate a forklift, lift gate, and box truck
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
