Job Summary

Captain Handy Inc. is seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and construction of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising staff, planning and directing grounds maintenance, and managing labor and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure efficient completion of tasks
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance, including the construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls
  • Plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work, ensuring high-quality results
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in landscaping or a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, with a focus on horticulture or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and physical stamina
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work under pressure
