About the Opportunity

The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Nutrition & Food Services by effectively coordinating the day-to-day operation of the Director's office. This includes coordinating all administrative activities, establishing administrative procedures and guidelines, and acting as a liaison with administrative assistants within the portfolio and across the health authority.

The position provides additional support to individuals, committees, or working groups as assigned, as well as supports other members of the NFS Team as required. This role works closely with the Administrative Assistant to the Senior Director, NFS.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced administrative professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary diploma in a recognized office administration, business administration, or secretarial program, and a minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience providing administrative support and office coordination at the executive level, preferably within healthcare and within an integrated service model provided throughout several locations with multiple partners and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, interpersonal, prioritizing, and organizational skills, as well as demonstrated competencies requiring advanced skills and abilities in all facets of modern office practices and technology, and with information and meeting technologies.

Hours
  • Part-time long assignment, 50% FTE, 37.5 hours biweekly
  • Approximately 12 months, dates subject to change
Compensation and Benefits

$26.35 Hourly
