Renal Transplant Associate Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Associate Physician to join our Renal Transplant Program at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical care under the supervision of a fully licensed physician and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Clinical Responsibilities- Provide inpatient and outpatient care to patients undergoing renal transplant procedures.
- Collaborate with nurses, house staff, attending staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and referring physicians to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities and contribute to the overall success of the Renal Transplant Program.
We are looking for a candidate who meets the requirements to obtain a Clinical Assistant License from The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia. You should have a strong command of written and spoken English, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. ACLS certification and CMPA coverage are also required.
Hours and CompensationThis is a permanent, full-time position with a 96-hour bi-weekly schedule. The hourly rate is $49.91 - $63.57, and successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
