About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Assistant Physician to join our Renal Transplant Program. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical care under the supervision of a fully licensed physician and participate in the call schedule as required.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient and outpatient care to patients with renal failure, including admission, management, and discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with nurses, house staff, attending staff, and other members of the allied healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, referring physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities and respond to urgent situations as required.
About You

We are looking for a candidate who meets the requirements to obtain a Clinical Assistant License from The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia and has obtained a Review of Qualifications from The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia prior to application deadline. Additionally, you should have CMPA coverage, ACLS certification, and a good command of written and spoken English.

Requirements

  • Must meet the requirements to obtain a Clinical Assistant License from The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia.
  • Must have obtained a Review of Qualifications from The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia prior to application deadline.
  • CMPA coverage required.
  • ACLS certification required.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
Hours
  • Permanent, Full-Time Position, 96 hrs bi-weekly.
Compensation and Incentives

$49.91 - $63.57 Hourly.
