Job Description
">This exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Emergency Crisis Service Department. As a key member of the interprofessional team, you will provide client-centered psychiatric and general nursing care to patients requiring emergency services.
You will be responsible for performing ongoing assessments, developing, implementing, and evaluating the inter-professional plan of client care for all clients. This includes liaising with other services in the Acute Care Program and community agencies to coordinate care for clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)">
- Demonstrated expertise in emergency psychiatry, crisis intervention, addiction issues, trauma-informed care, recovery-oriented care, and severe and persistent mental illness">
- Excellent assessment, planning, and communication skills">
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly">
