Key Responsibilities- Provide emergency nursing care to clients/patients with a wide range of symptoms and conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement plans of care.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and maintain patient records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in critical care nursing.
Sechelt Hospital is a 46-bed acute care facility serving over 30,000 residents of the Lower Sunshine Coast. Our hospital provides a range of services, including emergency care, renal program, mental health and substance use services, surgical services, and imaging services.
Requirements- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of a recognized critical care nursing program or completion of a recognized advanced program in intensive care or emergency care nursing.
- Two (2) years' recent, related experience in critical care nursing.
