Critical Care Nurse

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit at Sechelt Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will provide emergency nursing care to clients/patients of all ages, including those with critical and life-threatening conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide emergency nursing care to clients/patients in a critical care environment.
- Assess and manage critical and life-threatening situations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Develop and implement plans of care in relation to client/family priorities.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
Sechelt Hospital is an acute care facility located in Sechelt, British Columbia. We provide a range of services, including emergency care, renal program, mental health and substance use services, surgical services, and imaging services.
Qualifications- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of a recognized critical care nursing program or completion of a recognized advanced program in emergency care nursing or two (2) years' recent, related experience.
