Operations Coordinator

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Defining project scope, goals, and objectives
- Developing a detailed project plan, including timelines and budgets
- Selecting and organizing project teams, including contractors and subcontractors
- Creating and maintaining a project schedule
- Budget Management
- Preparing and managing project budgets
- Monitoring and controlling project costs to stay within budget
- Approving expenditures and change orders as necessary
- Quality Control
- Site supervision
- Establishing and enforcing quality standards for the project
- Conducting regular inspections and quality checks
- Communication and Reporting
- Maintaining clear communication with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and government agencies
- Providing regular project updates and reports to keep stakeholders informed
- Procurement
- Assisting Procurement Manager to source and manage materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors
- Schedule Management
- Monitoring and adjusting project schedules as needed
- Coordinating and sequencing construction activities to optimize efficiency
- Documentation and Record Keeping
- Maintaining thorough project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project records
- Change Management
- Evaluating and assessing proposed changes to the project scope or schedule
- Closeout and Handover
- Overseeing project closeout activities, such as final inspections, punch lists, and commissioning
