Job Title: Building Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Quality Inn Bracebridge. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our hotel, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and repairing of hotel facilities.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners and other equipment to remove debris and maintain a clean environment.
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Supervise other workers and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of independence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks.
  • Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and bending.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests. The work schedule will be 35-40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
