Job Title: Building Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Quality Inn Bracebridge. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel and resort.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris from our facilities.
  • Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Supervise other workers and maintain inventory of supplies.
  • Work with minimal supervision and handle heavy loads.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility and ability to work a variety of shifts.
