Job Title: Building Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Quality Inn Bracebridge. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and maintain a clean environment
  • Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Supervise other workers and maintain inventory of supplies
  • Work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of independence
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment
