Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Simplot Company. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the best position for Simplot Grower Solutions in the acquisition of Seed, Seed Care, Inoculant, and Crop Protection products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate retail Marketing Letters with manufacturers to ensure timely and accurate plans.
  • Direct the projected plans and forecasts to wholesale distributors.
  • Oversee logistics processes and arrange trucking, warehousing, and proper storage of all products.
  • Develop reporting systems to ensure proper tracking of shipments and supply contracts.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry partners.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business, Agriculture, or related field.
  • Combination of education, training, and/or experience will be considered.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
