Your Opportunity

At BDO Canada, we're seeking a Co-op Student or Intern to join our Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team from January to April 2025. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for:

* Preparing pitch-books and presentation documents in connection with business development initiatives
* Conducting market, industry, and company research to support live engagements
* Identifying potential buyers and acquisition targets
* Assisting with drafting marketing documentation, including Confidential Information Memorandums
* Performing various financial analyses, including financial modeling and comparable company analyses
* Participating in due diligence processes

Requirements

* Enrolled in a post-secondary business program with an emphasis in accounting or finance
* Strong interest in Mergers and Acquisitions
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
* Developed communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
* Strong aptitude for Microsoft Excel
* Ability to prioritize competing priorities with varying deadlines
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced deals environment
