About the Role
The Government of Alberta seeks an experienced Emergency Management E-Learning Designer to join our team. Reporting directly to the Team Lead - Emergency Management Education, this position is responsible for creating high-quality digital emergency management training products that meet current curriculum development and instructional design best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop curriculum based on strong learning outcomes supported by legislative context, field expertise, and contemporary emergency management research and practices
- Identify performance gaps and opportunities for continuous improvement in emergency management training
- Collaborate with project advisory teams to support training development from an industry and stakeholder-informed perspective
- Provide recommendations for curriculum development and instructional design-related reports, correspondence, and presentations
- Standardize in-house curriculum development and instructional design processes for emergency management training
About You
We are looking for a skilled Emergency Management E-Learning Designer who can create engaging and effective digital training products. The ideal candidate has experience in instructional design, adult education, and curriculum development, particularly in emergency management.
