We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Baxter's Bakery (Cobourg) Inc. in a Bakery Production Specialist role.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Bakery Operations: Bake mixed dough and batters, frost and decorate cakes and baked goods, and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, package products, and inspect kitchen and food service areas.
- Food Safety and Handling: Ensure adherence to food safety and handling practices.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a related role.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and productivity.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
