We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to join our team at Alstom. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and manufacturing a complete range of transportation systems, from high-speed trains to electric buses and driverless trains.

As a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist, you will participate in the design of the product in partnership with different functions to propose solutions to improve the manufacturing of the product. You will also actively participate in the realization of the first units by supporting the main manufacturing functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop manufacturing processes and systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product manufacturing
  • Support the realization of first units and manufacturing functions
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Define and estimate costs of production methods

Required Profile:

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Knowledge of fundamental theories, principles, and concepts related to mechanical manufacturing and assembly
  • Basic welding knowledge an asset
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required; CATIA software an asset
  • Fluency in French and good working knowledge of English
  • Detail-oriented
  • Autonomy and rigor
  • Excellent communications skills and team player
  • Available to travel
