Manufacturing Engineering Specialist

As a Manufacturing Engineering Engineer at Alstom, you'll be part of a global community of over 70,000 people working together to solve real-world mobility challenges and achieve international projects with sustainable local impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop manufacturing solutions that improve product quality and efficiency.
- Support the production team in the realization of first units, ensuring smooth manufacturing processes and high-quality products.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for assembly and manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and innovation in manufacturing methods and products.
- Develop and implement action plans to enhance productivity and efficiency in existing equipment and manufacturing processes.
- Determine the most cost-effective production methods, taking into account product requirements and manufacturing constraints.
Required Profile:
- Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical manufacturing and assembly principles, theories, and concepts.
- Basic welding knowledge is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CATIA software is required.
- Fluency in French and good working knowledge of English.
- Attention to detail, autonomy, and rigor.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
