About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to join our team at Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC - K03. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for executing and delivering technical/engineering projects for our Amazon Live program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute and deliver technical/engineering projects for Amazon Live, ensuring timely and successful launches into new marketplaces.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to identify and mitigate risks/blockers to delivery, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Develop and execute product and technical roadmaps, aligning with business objectives and goals.
  • Own reporting mechanisms, including program reviews, and contribute to org-wide MBRs, QBRs.
  • Participate in OP1 and OP2 discussions to gain context on business objectives and goals.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design.
  • Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
  • Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
