Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Child and Youth Psychologist to join our team at Shared Health.

Job Description

This role will involve providing a wide range of clinical services to children and youth presenting with various mental health issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing psychological or forensic assessments, individual/group/family treatment, and consultation with internal and external systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for children and youth with complex mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care and support.
  • Provide training and supervision to students and staff as needed.
  • Consult with parents and collateral agencies to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from a CPA-accredited program.
  • Completion of a CPA-accredited internship/residency.
  • Registration (or registrable) as a C. Psych. by the Psychological Association of Manitoba.
  • Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds is an asset.
  • Interest/experience/training in providing treatment/assessment within a forensic setting is an asset.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as access to paid vacation time and professional development opportunities.
