Job Summary

We are seeking a Consultant Psychologist to join our team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. As a Consultant Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments for candidates who have completed written personality assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct one-on-one interviews with candidates to assess their suitability for a role with Correctional Service Canada.
  • Complete a template with your findings post-interview, with support from our experienced Senior Consulting Psychologist.
  • Perform formal testing (MMPI-3 and 16PF) followed by a structured clinical interview to determine if candidates meet CSC requirements.
  • Review and interpret test results, conduct follow-up clinical interviews, and provide feedback on individual assessment results to candidates.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience providing assessments for public entities in the last 10 years.
  • Completed approximately 50 assessments for psychological readiness of candidates in the last 10 years.
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D in Psychology.
  • Fully licensed for autonomous practice as a Psychologist in Manitoba.
  • Fluent in English.

Additional Information

Casual contract with a flexible schedule based on client needs and Psychologist availability.

Assessments can be conducted virtually or in person.
