Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Youth Program Development Manager to lead our team in planning and delivering high-quality programs, events, and retreats for youth engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and facilitating workshops, developing and implementing youth leadership programs, and coordinating community events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Planning: Develop and implement program plans, including workshops, events, and retreats, that align with our organization's mission and goals.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Organize and facilitate workshops for the public and service providers to raise awareness of challenges faced by youth-in-care and promote collaboration among stakeholders.
  • Leadership Program Development: Assist in developing and facilitating the Youth Leadership program, providing training and support to youth participants.
  • Event Coordination: Take the lead in planning and coordinating community events, working collaboratively with partners to ensure their success.
  • Documentation and Evaluation: Document and evaluate program outcomes, making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Post-Secondary Education: A degree in Recreation Management, Project Management, Social Work, Community Development, Child and Youth Care, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in planning and delivering youth programming, with a strong understanding of Manitoba's Child Welfare System.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, proficiency in Microsoft 365.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our organization offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation time, and professional development opportunities.
