Job Summary

Lakeside Process Controls Ltd. is a market leader in providing complete automation solutions to various industries. We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator – Payroll and Benefits to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer semi-monthly payroll with 100% accuracy using Dayforce.
  • Compile pay-related reports, statements, and summaries necessary for payroll processing.
  • Save payroll reports electronically and maintain accurate records.
  • Interpret Lakeside's policies and apply them to payroll-related inquiries and tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with Ontario and Manitoba legislation.
  • Report monthly WSIB and HET payments.
  • Work with the Dayforce representative to improve payroll processes.
  • Complete year-end remittances and tax forms.
  • Maintain employee optional benefits, including RRSPs and life insurance.
  • Coordinate with the auditing team on payroll audit tests and verification.
  • Research and present information on new legislation affecting payroll processing.
  • Resolve discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.
  • Issue ROEs and manual payments as required.
  • Monitor and analyze controllable payroll charges.
  • Support employees and managers with payroll-related questions.
  • Provide payroll records to government agencies and financial auditors.
  • Develop and execute Wellness programs for all Lakeside locations.
Requirements
  • University degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of payroll experience.
  • PCP Certification or working towards certification.
  • Proficient in MS Office and PDF Exchange.
  • Professionalism, confidentiality, and strong communication skills.
