Job Title: Assistant Rooms Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Rooms Operations Manager to join our team at EightSix Network. As a key member of our Rooms Operations department, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of Rooms Operations and supervising related areas, including Housekeeping, Recreation, Laundry, Staff, AYS, and Concierge/Guest Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of Rooms Operations activities, including opening and closing Front Desk shifts, reviewing critical information contained in room operations reports, and understanding the functions of various departments.
  • Temporarily supervise all areas of the Room Operations department in the absence of the Room Operations management.
  • Operate all department equipment as necessary and report malfunctions.
  • Ensure employees have the proper supplies and uniforms.
  • Understand and comply with loss prevention policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to managing departmental controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
  • Provide excellent customer service and participate in the investigation of employee and guest accidents.
  • Assist in the use of a guest information tracking system to ensure a successful repeat guest recognition program.
  • Set a positive example for guest relations and interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
  • Assist in the review of comment cards and guest satisfaction results with employees.
  • Manage and conduct human resources activities, including training staff, monitoring adherence to policies and procedures, and supervising staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area.
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area.

What We Offer:
