About the Role

This is a high-level position within Scotiabank, focusing on building and executing short- and long-term product vision and strategy for domestic and cross-border payments.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for autonomously driving product development and ensuring quality digital product launches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement product strategies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Cultivate deep relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Prioritize and negotiate to overcome obstacles and ensure timely product launches.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams to build and deliver high-quality products.
  • Ensure inclusive and diverse work environments that promote professional growth and a high-performance ethos.
  • Maintain a focus on key metrics such as adoption, NPS, and performance, with a continuous drive for customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of market and regulatory changes to ensure competitiveness and compliance throughout the product development process.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in building customer-facing digital products, preferably focused on payments.
  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end digital payment solutions for retail and small business segments.
  • Strategic thinking with a history of developing and realizing product visions based on customer insights.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to juggle multiple high-stakes projects.
  • Curious and experimental mindset to drive innovation amidst uncertainty.
