Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior IT Specialist to join our Homebuilding Division team at Mattamy Homes Corporation. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional end-user support and service to our team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt and professional support to end-users, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Collaborate with IT Service Delivery Leads to resolve technical issues and improve overall service delivery.
  • Proactively build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure defined processes and procedures are followed and maintained to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Partner with the People & Culture team to ensure onboarding and offboarding processes are followed.
  • Assist users with technical issues related to Windows, Mac, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot meeting-related issues with audio-visual equipment and collaboration tools.
  • Triage issues and service requests via our incident management system.
  • Log all incoming calls and resolve or escalate as required.
  • Train users on company processes and applications.
  • Manage hardware and software inventory, including ordering and deployment.
  • Ensure user hardware database is up to date and accurate.
  • Manage distribution groups and assist users with technical issues.
  • Assist users with troubleshooting Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) related issues.
  • Deploy and troubleshoot printers and manage toner inventory.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues in a Windows and/or Mac environment.
  • Understanding of Wide Area Network and LAN technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with client support and a proven ability to deliver high-level customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer and vendor relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
  • Strong ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to travel within the GTA region.

Preferred Qualifications

  • College diploma or university degree in business or information systems.
  • Experience with systems such as Fresh Service, Solarwinds, Office 365, Active Directory, Apple, Windows, and Android devices.
