Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Khangura Transport Services LTD is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious driver to transport goods and materials across the country. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trucking regulations, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing professional and courteous service to maintain a positive reputation for Khangura Transport Services LTD.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Logistics: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 1 or A), with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train, with a strong desire to learn and grow in the trucking industry.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role, requiring the ability to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
