Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Drivers Supervisor to join our team at 1040023 ALBERTA LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth execution of our transportation logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development
    • Develop and implement training programs for truck drivers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
    • Arrange for training sessions and workshops to ensure drivers are up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Operations Coordination
    • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
    • Monitor and control the movement of trucks and drivers to optimize routes and reduce costs.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed by drivers and other personnel.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Personnel Management
    • Recommend personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, or disciplinary measures, as needed.
    • Co-ordinate repairs and rentals of equipment and vehicles.
    • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as required.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
