We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team at Akshar Accounting & Bookkeeping Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including data entry, record-keeping, and report preparation.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Train and supervise junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Coordinate and review work assignments, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting deadlines.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Establish and maintain accurate records, including financial transactions, employee data, and other relevant information.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large caseload.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
