Clinical Practice Coordinator, PHD

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Practice Coordinator to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. The successful candidate will support discipline-specific practice and student/learner placements across programs and services, and facilitate optimal scopes of practice in an integrated interprofessional practice model within the Rehabilitation and Supportive Care portfolio.
The Professional Practice Coordinator will work closely with members of the individual disciplines, operational leadership, staff, practice councils, and educational institutions to foster person-centered care and collaborative interprofessional relationships. This role requires a strong understanding of evidence-based clinical practice as it relates to acquired brain injury rehabilitation, as well as excellent consultation and problem-solving skills.
The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate degree in Psychology with an emphasis in clinical, health or neuropsychology, and registration as a psychologist with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology. They will also have 5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with leadership activities and a strong track record of effective consultation with others.
This is a permanent, part-time position with 15 hours bi-weekly. The hourly rate is $51.37 - $66.32. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive work environment.
