Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and organized Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including managing staff, inventory, and supplies.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices for food and other supplies.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
- Provide coaching and training to staff to improve performance and productivity.
- Financial Management
- Manage restaurant finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset.
