As an IT Project Manager at Explorer Group Canada Ltd., you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects. This includes assigning tasks to systems analysts, programmers, and other computer technicians, as well as coordinating IT projects and ensuring compliance with software and hardware requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign IT projects to systems analysts, programmers, and other computer technicians
  • Coordinate IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
  • Direct and control daily operations
  • Evaluate daily operations
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Recruit staff
  • Review operational reports to assess compliance with software and hardware requirements
  • Supervise computer analysts, engineers, programmers, technicians, and other personnel
  • Supervise staff
  • Train staff
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for information systems
  • Authorize the development of specifications for products or services
  • Meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines
  • Manage incidents
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 35 hours per week
