Project Manager - Custom Manufacturing

Bilton Welding and Manufacturing Ltd. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Project Manager to lead our custom manufacturing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects, ensuring completion within scope, budget, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring completion within scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Manage change orders and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, design, engineering, and production teams to coordinate project activities and ensure smooth information flow.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, negotiating contracts, addressing needs, and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing project management environment.
  • Utilize project management software and industry best practices, leveraging a solid understanding of P&ID, instrumentation, and process systems.
  • Uphold strong documentation practices and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring trust, credibility, and accountability throughout each project.
Requirements:
  • PMP certification is an asset.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, fabrication, and welding, preferably within the oil and gas or heavy industrial industry.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project), with a strong understanding of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), instrumentation, and controls.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing client relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain thorough documentation.
