Job Title: IT Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team at Explorer Group Canada Ltd.

Job Summary

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services. This role will also involve supervising staff, evaluating daily operations, and planning and organizing daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
  • Supervise staff, including computer analysts, engineers, programmers, technicians, and other personnel
  • Evaluate daily operations and identify areas for improvement
  • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Recruit and train staff as needed
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for information systems
  • Authorize the development of specifications for products or services
  • Meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines
  • Manage incidents and ensure timely resolution
Requirements
  • Computer programming skills
  • Data processing and systems knowledge
  • Desktop applications expertise
  • Development of computer applications experience
  • Programming languages proficiency
  • Programming software skills
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification
  • English language proficiency
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management and a proven track record of success in leading and coordinating IT projects.
