About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Atlantic Kitchen St Albert. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Handling
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
    • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
    • Scour pots and pans
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • General Kitchen Duties
    • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
    • Will train
  • Language and Availability
    • Fluent in English
    • Available to work 15 to 30 hours per week
