Job Title: Heavy Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team as a Heavy Duty Cleaner at SRS Property Mgmt Corporation. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers to prevent odors and pests.
  • Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment as needed.
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Work with minimal supervision to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of our properties.
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure safe access to our properties.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work 35 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
