Job Overview

The Renovation Project Coordinator will be responsible for estimating project costs, managing job execution, developing project schedules, and overseeing invoicing for interior renovation projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a proven track record in quoting, managing jobs, and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules specific to renovation workflows using project management software.
  • Coordinate with architects, interior designers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure accurate estimates and alignment with project timelines.
  • Manage jobs effectively, ensuring tasks are executed according to specifications and timelines, while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Monitor project progress and performance against the schedule and budget, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Conduct detailed risk analysis and develop strategies to mitigate potential delays and cost overruns related to renovation projects.
  • Oversee the invoicing process, ensuring that all billings are accurate and submitted timely to clients and subcontractors.
  • Review subcontractor bids, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective solutions for each renovation project.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the renovation project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present reports on project status, including cost estimates, schedule performance, invoicing status, and any arising issues to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in quoting, managing jobs, and invoicing within the construction or renovation industry.
  • Proficient in project management and estimating software.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations in the renovation industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, especially related to interior design aesthetics and functionality.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple renovation projects simultaneously.
  • Relevant certifications (PMP, CCM, or equivalent) are a plus.
