Energy Project Manager

About the Role:
The Energy Project Manager will be responsible for managing and implementing portfolio-wide Renewable Energy Projects. This role requires strong technical and project management expertise in engineering disciplines applicable to renewable energy projects, including Geomatics, Geotechnical, Civil, Structural, and Electrical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage programs from concept inception to implementation
- Manage clients, subcontractors, and consulting partners to deliver full scope engineering on renewable EPC contracts
- Schedule and coordinate projects
- Develop improved and more efficient engineering designs for energy projects
- Meet project deadlines and deliverables by managing the workload of various resources assigned to projects
Requirements:
- Valid or PE licence would be an asset
- Robust knowledge in civil road design, structural engineering, and electrical engineering (medium/high voltage)
- Experience running full-cycle of project management within the Energy systems sector
- Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines, and standards
- Strong skills with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and technical design software
- Ability to exercise independent judgment within defined parameters and in alignment with business objectives
