Job Overview

OLG is seeking a Senior Building Project Specialist to join its Planning Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing space within the OLG's Corporate Real Estate Portfolio, leading or supporting space planning projects, and overseeing construction/renovation projects and day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage space within the OLG's Corporate Real Estate Portfolio
  • Lead or support space planning projects within the Planning Department
  • Oversee construction/renovation projects and day-to-day activities
  • Ensure safety and compliance with standards, codes, and accessibility frameworks
  • Manage vendor contracts
  • Work with the Joint Health and Safety Committee to resolve issues
  • Maintain and monitor budgets
  • Coordinate logistics and communication for projects and moves/adds/changes

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in office facility management, office design, or construction coordination
  • University or College Degree/Diploma in Facility Management or Construction Management, Architecture, or Interior Design
  • Knowledge of building code, universal design and accessibility
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading, construction safety and regulations
  • Experience with consultant, contractor, vendor and landlord management
  • Strong project coordination, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Auto CAD and Microsoft Office
