Job Summary:

Whitehorse Home Hardware Building Centre is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in our store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, discussing their needs, and making product recommendations.
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new products and promotions.
  • Assist with visual merchandising and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience for customers.

Requirements:

  • High school certificate or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail experience an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
