About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Heat Yukon Heating Fuels Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process payments, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card transactions.
  • Scan items and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Reconcile daily/shift payments received and ensure accuracy in sales reporting.
  • Suggestive selling and upselling to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Greet customers and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Assist customers with seat selection and provide information on products and services.
  • Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
Requirements
  • Own vehicle for occasional travel to work.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
