About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Real Canadian Superstore. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Customer Transactions: Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide product information to customers.
  • Maintain Store Appearance: Ensure the sales floor is well-organized, clean, and free of clutter.
  • Participate in Promotions: Assist with in-store promotions, displays, and visual merchandising to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Work with Colleagues: Collaborate with other sales floor associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Setting: Supermarket/grocery store environment.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Familiarity with electronic cash registers and Interac machines.
  • Security and Safety: Ability to pass a criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
