Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Hiring
    • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to ensure the company's operational needs are met.
    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
    • Coordinate the selection process, including interviews and assessments.
    • Make recommendations for hiring and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Employee Relations
    • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
    • Provide guidance and support to employees on company policies and procedures.
  • HR Administration
    • Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract potential candidates.
    • Collect and screen applicants to ensure they meet the company's requirements.
    • Review candidate inventories to identify the best fit for the company.
    • Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Workplace Health and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
