About the Job

At New Castle Hotels & Resorts, we are seeking a skilled Bell Person/Valet Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the Smile that Greets the Guest - offer a warm welcome, assist with luggage, and park guests' cars with care and precision.
  • Be a Source of Information - respond to guests' inquiries about directions, happenings, local restaurants, and hotel information with a helpful attitude and a smile.
  • Be a Safety & Security Agent - follow hotel safety and security policies & procedures, anticipate problems, and call management as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must be available to work daytime, evening, overnight, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract required.
  • 1 year of experience in a hotel or a related customer service field preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to work long hours and some back-to-back shifts, as needed.

Duties & Functions

  • Open doors and welcome guests.
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Transfer luggage and packages to and from rooms, loading areas, vehicles, or transportation terminals, by hand or using baggage carts.
  • Supply guests with directions, travel information, and other information such as available services and points of interest.
