Job Description:
Sun Life Financial is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Manager, Financial Planning Tools and Training. This key position will oversee the day-to-day operations and implement best practices to ensure seamless delivery of financial planning services to advisors and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial planning support help desk and provide operational support.
- Coordinate with internal delivery teams on digital aspects of our financial planning tools and roadmaps.
- Work closely with the One Plan vendor (Conquest) to recommend enhancements and resolve defects and issues.
- Support change management and communications for internal stakeholders related to release feature deployments.
- Support the development and maintenance of appropriate training content required to grow and develop advisors and field managers planning capabilities.
- Align with Sun Life product owner and Journey teams providing subject matter expertise and assist with the delivery of prioritized roadmap features.
Requirements:
- 7+ years in a financial planning related role.
- CFP, CLU, or QAFP planning designation equivalent.
- 5-10 years experience working with digital products or in an operations role, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of investment/wealth management with a focus on estate and financial planning.
- Previous leadership experience and demonstrated ability to provide strong people management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and align work with changing demands and demonstrate resourcefulness in solving problems.
- Highly collaborative and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Salary Range: 78,000 - 128,000
