Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team at John Hancock Life Insurance Company (U.S.A.). As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial planning, reporting, and analysis support to senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Identify and analyze trends and variances in financial data to inform business decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial planning and analysis processes
- Provide financial guidance and support to senior management and other stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the insurance industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and other stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with financial planning and analysis software
