Role Overview:

The Network Implementation Specialist at Bulletproof plays a crucial role in shaping the company's first impression among its clients. This dynamic position requires a skilled professional to install new infrastructure, cloud services, and maintain the IT infrastructure for clients. The scope of work includes network and server hardware, security components, and other essential systems that support business operations and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client onboarding and provide exceptional support during this critical phase.
  • Develop and execute IT infrastructure projects for Bulletproof and its clients, encompassing network upgrades, firewall migrations, wireless assessments and installations, network upgrades, and security enhancements.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot various devices, including servers, switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and backup systems.
  • Offer technical guidance and assistance to end-users and other IT staff members, addressing issues and escalating problems as needed.
  • Conduct research and evaluate new deployment technologies and solutions, suggesting improvements and best practices for IT infrastructure deployment.
  • Cable management, equipment mounting, labeling, and documentation in network racks at client sites are also essential responsibilities.
  • Improve the delivery process by leveraging automation and scripting techniques where feasible.
  • Provide hands-on training, training materials, and documentation for client equipment to employees when necessary and facilitate knowledge transfer for migration projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, such as information systems, engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in IT infrastructure implementation, administration, or support.
  • Strong understanding and skills in network hardware, servers technologies, such as Fortinet, Cisco, Windows Server, Linux, VMware.
  • Certifications in IT infrastructure, like CompTIA Network+, Fortinet NCE, Cisco CCNA, etc., are desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strong communication skills.
  • Holding a valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Will to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
  • Possibility to travel 50-70% of the time, depending on project requirements and client locations.
  • Ability to physically lift equipment at client sites.
