Lead Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at The Ticketing Co. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our digital backbone, ensuring seamless operations and high-performance systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the entire company infrastructure, including database management, ensuring optimization, performance, and data integrity across all systems.
- Maintain and monitor the website's uptime, ensuring smooth and continuous operation.
- Take full accountability for all aspects of the infrastructure, including servers, networking, and security.
- Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect data and systems.
- Continuously improve infrastructure reliability and efficiency through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable infrastructure solutions, including cloud environments.
- Expertise in server infrastructure, with experience in Google Cloud Platform or AWS.
- Security Expertise: A deep understanding of security best practices and implementation is a must.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL and Node.js, with a strong focus on maintainability, scalability, and readability.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Pulumi.
- Bonus Skills: Knowledge of React and React Native is a plus.
- Full Insurance Coverage.
- Vacation: 3 weeks of vacation per year, with flexibility on when to take them, plus an additional week off during Christmas.
- Sick Leave: 5 days of sick leave annually.
- Off-Site Events: We aim to hold one or two off-site events each year, where the entire team gathers for a week to collaborate and connect in person.
