Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst I to join our team at Paymentus Holdings Inc. as a Data Insights Specialist. This role will be responsible for collecting and analyzing internal and external financial information to evaluate the company's financial position and make informed financial recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges that impact the company's financial performance.
  • Reporting and Insights: Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and other visualizations to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, and IT, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Financial Planning: Assist in the development of financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to support business growth and strategy.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of financial analyst experience, with a strong background in financial analysis, reporting, and planning.
  • Skills: Excellent proficiency in Excel, with ability to query and analyze large amounts of financial data. Familiarity with VBA Macros, SQL, and Tableau is preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Good organizational and time management skills, strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment, with a focus on data-driven decision making and collaboration.

Physical Demands

This role requires sitting or standing at a computer workstation for extended periods of time.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, with a standard 40-hour workweek. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

No travel is required for this position.
